周宇，重庆大学经济与工商管理学院教授、博士生导师、供应链管理与市场营销系主任；研究兴趣包括但不限于技术密集型供应链管理、新技术运营管理、“人—技”可持续发展；作为独立作者、通讯作者或者第一作者发表论文二十余篇在国内外主流学术期刊Management Science、Decision Sciences、POM和EJOR等；主持国家自然科学基金项目3项；从2021年起连续入选“爱思唯尔中国高被引学者（工商管理）”。

主讲内容：The development of new information technologies, particularly blockchain, gives manufacturers powerful tools to achieve transparency in quality disclosures in their marketing efforts. In practice, large retailers have led the investment in blockchain traceability systems, and individual manufacturers must weigh the potential price increase brought about by quality transparency against the additional costs incurred to decide whether to adopt it. However, competition between manufacturers with vertically differentiated quality levels significantly complicates quality disclosure strategies. Therefore, we develop a game-theoretic model to study a supply chain involving two competing manufacturers supplying to a common retailer, where blockchain technology can be leveraged in disclosing objective quality.
